OUR SCHOOL AIMS

We aim to provide a happy, stimulating and secure environment in which each child may achieve their potential intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. 

Our aim in the long term is for the children to become well balanced, thinking adults with an awareness of themselves as individuals, and a sensitivity to the needs of others.

We aim to give the children a good basic grounding in a wide range of skills through a rich variety of experiences.

We try to ensure that these foundations are wide and strong, so that future learning experiences may safely be built upon them, and the children will develop a positive attitude towards learning.

We want our children to leave us with a positive self-image, able to face their future confidently and independently.

Our final aim is to encourage all children to take pride in their school.

We aim for high standards in work and behaviour and we want the school to be known for this in the neighbourhood. 

If children are proud of themselves and the school they will try harder with everything, and achieve more.
